| Did you know??? Fuels containing ethanol, ex. E10 fuel, has a stronger bond to water molecules than it has to gasoline molecules. When moisture is added to these E10 fuels, the already weak bond is weakened even more, causing the bond to break. Ethanol molecules will bond to the water molecules and settle to the bottom of the tank. This causes poor engine conditions. Also, the ethanol and water mixture is corrosive, often creating rust. Last, the reamining mixture higher in the tank, will contain a lower octane rating, which could be below the requirements of the engine. It is important to use fresh fuel, and a correct additive.
